Walkways, Patios
& Drainage In
Conroe, TX.
Five Things
We Do Well
In Conroe.
We build the parts of a yard that do not grow. Paths, patios, drainage, and edging. No lawn care, no lawn maintenance, no tree removal. If that is what you need, we will point you somewhere good.
On a sloped lot the order changes. Holding the ground comes before dressing it, so walls and edging tend to lead the conversation up here.

Questions,
Answered.
Can you build a retaining wall to hold my slope?
Depends how much wall you need. We build short walls that hold a bank, terrace a bed, or take a step out of a grade, and those do not need engineering. Once a wall is genuinely holding a slope back it becomes structural, which means an engineer and a contractor set up for that work. We will tell you which side of that line your yard sits on while we are standing in it.
My gravel keeps washing down the hill. Can that be fixed?
Yes, and it is usually two things. Loose gravel with nothing holding the edges will always migrate downhill, and a path that runs straight down a grade gives the water a channel to do it with. We edge in bender board, set concrete step stones so there is a solid surface underfoot, and on a steeper run we step the path rather than slope it.
Do you work on Lake Conroe waterfront properties?
On the yard side, yes. Paths down toward the water, patios, beds, edging, and drainage are all work we do. Bulkheads, docks, and shoreline structures are not. That is a marine trade with its own permissions attached to it, and taking it on would be us learning at your expense. We are happy to do our part and stop where our part stops.
Does a sloped yard cost more to work on?
Sometimes, and sometimes the opposite. A patio on a grade needs a level pad cut first, which adds to it. Drainage on a grade can be simpler than on a flat lot, because the water already wants to go somewhere. We price it off the yard rather than a rate card, which is why the visit matters.
How much does a gravel walkway cost in Conroe?
We measure rather than guess. Step stones in black star gravel price below pavers over the same footprint. On a slope, edging and any stepping needed are part of the number rather than an extra, and we would rather show you that upfront. The visit is free and the quote is in writing within 24 hours of it.
Do you charge to come out to Conroe?
No. The site visit is free and jobs are assigned by zone, so your project has a crew on it before the quote goes out. Conroe is toward the northern end of where we work, so if you are further out than the lake it is worth a quick call to confirm before we book the visit.
What is the deposit?
Under $5,000 it is 50% to schedule and 50% on completion after the final walkthrough. Over $5,000 it is 50% to schedule, 30% at the halfway mark, and 20% on completion. Same structure for every customer. The deposit reserves the crew, the date, and the materials.
Which Conroe neighborhoods do you serve?
Grand Central Park, Artavia, Woodforest, Harper’s Preserve, The Woodlands Hills, Graystone Hills, Teaswood, Barton Creek Ranch, Fosters Ridge, Evergreen, Mavera, and Silverthorne, plus the rest of Conroe either side of I-45. The gated communities over on the west side of Lake Conroe carry a Montgomery address, and we cover those as well. If your street is not on that list, give us a call and we will tell you either way.
