Walkways, Patios
& Drainage In
Montgomery, TX.

Gravel and step stone walkways, paver patios, driveway extensions, French drains, and small retaining walls. A lot of Montgomery sits behind a gate. Bentwater, Walden, April Sound, Grand Harbor. Getting a crew and a trailer through the front gate is part of the job, so we plan for it rather than turn up and hope.

What We Build

Five Things
We Do Well In
Montgomery.

We build the parts of a yard that do not grow. Paths, patios, drainage, and edging. No lawn care, no lawn maintenance, no tree removal. If that is what you need, we will point you somewhere good.

Behind a gate the work is only half of it. Access, hours, and leaving the street the way we found it are the other half.

Gravel & Step Stone Walkways In Montgomery

Concrete step stones set level with 3.5 inches of black star gravel between them. Dark and muted, which tends to sit well on a wooded lakeside lot rather than shouting for attention.

Paver Patios & Patio Extensions

Interlocking pavers over compacted base. On a lot that falls toward the water a patio usually needs a level pad cut first, and that is in the quote rather than a surprise on day two.

Retaining Walls & Borders

Short walls that terrace a bank or hold a bed on a sloping lot. Nothing that needs an engineer, and nothing at the waterline. We will say which one you are looking at.

French Drains & Yard Drainage

Inlets, pipe, and a grade that runs toward an outlet. On a lakeside lot the fall is usually there already, so the honest answer is often smaller than a full system.

Driveway Extensions

Extra parking down the side of the drive, or somewhere to put the boat trailer that is not the street. We tell you in writing which builds are rated to be driven on.
Behind The Gate

Getting In Is
Part Of The Job.

Bentwater, Walden, April Sound, Grand Harbor, Bluejack. Most of the work we do around Montgomery happens behind a manned gate, on a lot that falls toward water, with neighbors close enough to notice. Four things that changes.
01
You Authorize, We Register

The Gate

Gated communities generally want contractors on a list before they let a truck and trailer through. You put us on it, we give you whatever vehicle and insurance details your association asks for. It takes five minutes upfront and saves a crew sitting at a gate on install morning.
02
Check Your Rules

The Hours

Some associations set contractor working hours or restrict deliveries to certain days. It is worth a look at yours before we book a date, because a two day job can turn into four if a material drop cannot land when we need it.
03
Neighbors Are Close

The Staging

Gravel and base material have to go somewhere while we work, and on a tight lakeside lot that somewhere is usually your drive rather than the street. We agree where before day one, and the drive gets swept before the crew leaves each evening.
04
Not All Of It Is Gated

The Acreage Side

Crown Oaks, Ridgelake Shores, Grand Lake Estates and the land west of town are a different job entirely. Bigger lots, longer runs, often on septic, and far fewer people to ask. Same crews, different set of questions on the walk.
Where we stop is the water. Bulkheads, docks, and shoreline structures are a marine trade with permissions of their own attached, and we are not going to take that on to keep a job. We build the yard down to where your yard ends. Anything past that needs somebody set up for it.

Where We Work
Around Montgomery.

Most people who call us saw a video of the work before they ever saw the website. That is a strange way to start a relationship and we kind of like it. Jobs are assigned by zone before the quote goes out, so the crew that pulls up already had your address on their board. Every crew on your property is in an Eden's Garden shirt.

Yes. Gated communities usually want contractors authorized by the homeowner and registered with the association before a truck comes through, so we ask you to put us on the list and we supply whatever vehicle and insurance details they want. Sort it once at quote stage and install morning goes smoothly instead of a crew waiting at a gatehouse.

No. That is a marine trade with its own permissions attached, and it is not what we are set up for. We build the yard side: paths down toward the water, patios, beds, edging, drainage, and short walls up on the lot. Where your yard ends, so do we. Taking on shoreline work would be us learning at your expense.

Probably, and it varies between communities out here. Most associations review anything permanent going into a yard, and some also set contractor hours or delivery days. Check your own documents or ask the office. We put the scope, materials, and dimensions in the quote so you have what an application asks for, and we schedule around the approval rather than ahead of it.

On your drive, in an agreed spot, on boards where it makes sense. Not on the street and not on the neighbor’s grass. We settle that before day one rather than working it out with a loaded truck sitting there, and the drive gets swept before the crew leaves each evening. On a tight lot with close neighbors that part matters as much as the build does.

We measure rather than guess. Step stones in black star gravel price below pavers over the same footprint, and on a sloping lot any stepping or edging needed is part of the number rather than an extra. The site visit is free, the quote is in writing within 24 hours of it, and there is no starting-at pricing.

No. The site visit is free and jobs are assigned by zone, so your project has a crew on it before the quote goes out. Montgomery is toward the northern end of where we work, so if you are out past 105 west it is worth a quick call to confirm before we book the visit.

Under $5,000 it is 50% to schedule and 50% on completion after the final walkthrough. Over $5,000 it is 50% to schedule, 30% at the halfway mark, and 20% on completion. Same structure for every customer. The deposit reserves the crew, the date, and the materials.
